Are there any tips on how to explain the fashion and break the news to him so he won’t instantly reject it? I know he won’t hate it and he will accept me anyway but i’d like him to be a little comfortable with it maybe. So any tips? Thank you so much! :3 <33
How do you be secretly Lolita? I don’t think you have to just bust and say that you are. I’d just pull up some pictures of examples of Lolita fashion on Pintrest/Google and say that you like them. He’d eventually catch on that you like that kind of clothing.

Especially considering that 97 percent of how women and men are portrayed is decided on by men? Because 3 percent of the decision-making in media comes from women?
Please stop blaming women for men illustrating men in a negative fashion.
Women don’t have the institutional power to be sexist like that.
Some are. Others love that the fat, bumbling idiot has a smokin’ hot wife usually. What’s that about? It’s almost like men write these things or something . . .
ADD: The link supposedly showing women spend more money doesn’t say what he wants it to say. I think he wants it to prove women are bigger consumers and so advertising is aimed at women. The link actually talks about how women live longer (older women are usually on a fixed income though, and most advertising isn’t aimed at the elderly); have higher insurance rates; make less money than men for the same work; and take time off work rearing children. It concludes that all of this causes women to suffer a financial "penalty."
It’s talking about the "extra cost of being female."
